    The LEGALIZED is a new edition, a variation based on the limited series RASTA released in only 81 pieces. Now it’s special edition and not limited.
    Fully cnc from Al 7075 and Al 2024 and fully “added”: means 3D printed in PA12, raw finish to minimize any post-process as much as possible. In need, as per all INGRID components, any part is available as a spare and is widely compatible.
    You can enjoy LEGALIZED for 11s or 12s shifters for drop and flat bar, Campagnolo, Sram, Shimano and more.

    INTUITIVE SHIFTING WITH JUST ONE FINGER

    Analogical vs digital, analogical but digital.

    Anological from latin analogicus “of grammatical analogy” (borrowed from greek analogikós) based on mathematical ratios, of analogy in grammar, from “analogía”, proportion, from “analog”, similar, then intuitive.

    You will move the lever forward to up-shift the derailleur. You will move back the lever in an intuitive way to down-shift. It’s analogical.

    Do you remember the late 80’s shifters? they were intuitive. Such as the downtube levers.

    But if you introduce a ratchet it may become more “digitally precise”, from latin digitālis “measuring a finger’s breadth,” from digitus “finger, toe, finger’s breadth as a measure” + -ālis. The zero and the one, you know…

     

    And, yes it’s wired, so, you’ll must use your thumb, actuated by your muscles. Sorry.

    Nothing new apart from everything

    We started this project in 2017 and step by step we reached the target right now after 4 years, changing all the parts at least 10 time each. Thinking about electronics, about mech, about both. But definetly we understood we got the “mech”.
    Fully cnc about 7075 and fully “added”, mean 3D printed about PA12. Any part replaceble as spare and really widely compatible.

    You can drive it with 11s or 12s shifters for drop bar and flat bar, Campagnolo, Sram, Shimano and more

    The crankset

    Since when we first thought this crankset we tried to find a new way to make it simple, with a good stiffness-weight ratio and of course reliable.
    We studied the strange “sponge structure” visible on the back side.
    Then we decided to show the dots even in the main side and create a pattern that was used by one of the most important pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein.

    Its purpose is xc, cx, from gravel till light trail. But even Bike packing and Grand Tour.
    Compatible with any of our chainrings and spindles.

    The target was: “make it simpler” starting from the previous R model, born just reducing the Q of our first crankset L2; but mantaining the weight limit

    After some month of iteration between shapes and FEM, we reached this new “radical as clean” and definitive structure for this new crankset: 2 drilled “tubes” at sides and a machined matrix for a perfect stifness/weight ratio in aluminum cnc’d cranksets.

    We started the development of the first G in 2017 with the help and feedback from the guys of Bruno Zanchi team. Starting from the simple shape of a crank that needed hardiness more than tech speeches. Born in one single option in 172.5 mm and later in 170. Due to its heavy duty orientation the new G2 was made a little more shorter.
    For the G2 only one word was considered: reliability.
    For this reason, you can even use it in gravel, in bike packing, dirt, and whatever you want.
    Compatible with any of our chainrings and spindles.

    GT 12 SPEED CASSETTE

    1 by 12  speeds road cassette

    It’s a single 12 speed road, gravel cassette with a total range of 400%, the same of a double road system. Yes, no any miracle, except for simplicity vs some big gap at the extreme of it, optimizing the middle to make it smoother in the mainly used srockets.

    We started with the 11t sprocket to minimize friction and power loss and at the same time use “normal” chainring at the front. Of course it could be fitted in “old” shimano HG freehubs. But even in XD driver body by SRAM.

    CNC machined in 2 parts, one in steel and one in aluminium alloy. Both from solid pieces, steel part is heat treated after machining. Aluminium part is hardened with H.A. process.

    Of course take it in GT mood.

    This is the first cassette we made in 2016. It was the time people wanted some more from their one-by drivetrain in 10-42. Still now after the incoming of the 12 speed system, many people prefer or maintain the “old” but still “solid” 11 and choose this model. It’s perfect for gravelling with one-by road system.
